Intended for SMEs and corporate environmental officers this handbook has the intention to help quickly and easily identify your own level of environmental performance. Content: The method (listing 300 questions) is divided into 4 levels, which represent the two approaches generally observed in companies. THE RESPONSIVE APPROACH: to aim at compliance with regulations Level 1: to identify the degree of environmental awareness Level 2: to compare the company's practices with the regulations THE PRO-ACTIVE APPROACH: to control the environmental impacts Level 3: to be aware of the environmental impacts of one's activities Level 4: to set up structures to overcome the detected problems The diagnosis consists in a list of closed questions. Each answer provides a certain number of points. To evaluate each level, the participant adds up his points and transfers them to the evaluation sheet. He can find his position in a matrix and immediately look up the evaluation of his answers.
